Yuvsatta donates books to Prakash Foundation

Chandigarh, 9 November, 2012: Appreciating the constant efforts done by Prakash Foundation, a non-profit organization empowering the farmers through information and awareness, Yuvsatta, a city-based NGO, donated 21 copies of ‘Autobiography of MahatmaGandhi’ to the foundation here today. These books will be sent to village Palai of district Budaun (Uttar Pradesh) with the media team from Chandigarh and Delhi which is to visit Palai on 11th November, 2012.

Mr Pramod Sharma, Coordinator, Yuvsatta, said, “The initiative taken by Prakash Foundation deserves appreciation and respect. Organising a team of media persons along with like-minded people who are ready to serve and listen to the problems of people in a distant land is remarkable. I congratulate Mr Narvijay Yadav and the whole team for bringing up the issues concerning farmers at such a level.”

Explaining about the media visit to village Palai, Mr Narvijay Yadav, Founder, Prakash Foundation, said, “A media team from Chandigarh and Delhi is going to visit village Palai in Bisauli tehsil of Budaun on 11th November, 2012. Besides engaging in various rural welfare activities, they will also celebrate Diwali in the village. The team includes a former Army officer, Col V S Jamwal, educationists, two girls from Ladakh and a management trainer form USA.  The pictures clicked in Palai and drawings made by the rural children will be displayed in an exhibition later at Panjab University, Chandigarh.”
