A letter to Jairam Ramesh on the issue of rural toilets

To
Union Minister for Rural Development

Dear sir,

This letter is a token of gratitude and appreciation for your concern towards the prevalent problem of sanitation and toilets in rural parts of our country. We at Prakash Foundation, are truly thankful and motivated by your initiative as we also work towards the upliftment of farmers and problems pertaining in rural India.

Since you have brought up the issue so effectively we would like to draw your attention towards a village named Palai in Budaun district of Uttar Pradesh, which lacks all the basic amenities and does not have even a single toilet in any household. We at Prakash Foundation and people of Palai will be highly obliged and would see some relief if under your supreme guidance something could be done to eradicate this problem.

Prakash Foundation is empowering the farmers through information and awareness. The NGO aims at bring a measurable change in the rural areas of the country and want to root out the conventional limitations which obstruct the growth of the Real India, where over 69 percent of the population reside. It is paying special attention to increase agricultural production by motivating farmrers to use new technologies and methods of farming. To achieve this objective, the organization plans to bring agricultural scientists and officials closer to the farmers. A rural newspaper in simple language is being planned to bridge the communication gap.

Warm Regards

( Narvijay Yadav)
